Robert Griffin III and his wife, Rebecca Liddicoat, are going to be a bit busier this NFL season. That's because the couple just became parents.

On Thursday afternoon, Griffin announced the birth of his daughter by posting a photo to his Twitter account. His daughter's name is Reese Ann Griffin and she weighed in at just under eight pounds.

Griffin is entering a critical season in his NFL career. In his first season with head coach Jay Gruden, Griffin struggled and his relationship with Gruden deteriorated, as Gruden publicly criticized his quarterback multiple times.

The two, however, appear to be off to a better start in their second year together. Not only did Washington pick up Griffin's fifth-year option, but Gruden also committed to Griffin as his starter heading into the season. Furthermore, Gruden and Griffin have expressed their belief that their second season together will lead to success.
