The Rock and a bunch of his pals. (USATSI)

On HBO's Ballers, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson portrays Spencer Strassmore, a former NFL player trying to make it in the field of wealth management. Because he's a former NFL player, he has all kinds of NFL friends that he interacts with.

In the first season alone, DeSean Jackson, Steven Jackson, Antonio Brown, Larry Csonka, Dannell Ellerbe, Jeremy Shockey, Rashard Mendenhall, Jared Odrick, Jon Beason, Victor Cruz (Cruz was the only one actually involved in a storyline and not just dropping by to fill out Strassmore's world), LaMarr Woodley, Will Davis, Jason Pierre-Paul, Terrell Suggs, and Julian Edelman stopped by, among other people from the world of football.

In Season 2, it looks like at least three current players and one former player will join that list. Duke Johnson (who, like both The Rock and myself, attended the University of Miami), Torrey Smith, NaVorro Bowman, and former defensive tackle Anthony Adams dropped by the set and snapped a picture with The People's Champ, who thankfully appears to have not People's Elbowed or Rock Bottomed or performed any other wrestling moves on any of them.
