Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller agreed to a six-year, $114 million contract on Friday. The deal made him the highest-paid defensive player in football, and his $70 million guarantee figure now ranks second to only Andrew Luck's $87 million.

Many of Miller's peers took to Twitter to congratulate him on what they apparently felt was a very well-deserved (and to some, overdue) pay bump.

Von received praise from offensive and defensive players alike, as well as current teammates, former teammates (with Denver or Texas A&M), and rivals. It's safe to say that he's well-respected around the league.
