The catch that Odell Beckham Jr. somehow came down with against the Cowboys last season catapulted Beckham into headlines, award races, and onto the cover of a video game. But even if Beckham had failed to secure that catch, Beckham's rookie season would've been one worthy of national recognition.

According to Beckham, it's a bit unfortunate that he's only known for that catch.

"It's unfortunate, in a way, to be known only for 'the catch,'" Beckham told ESPN. "There were so many other things I did during the season; it's hard for me to distinguish myself because of that catch. I know that I'm more than that. But at least people know you, you know what I mean?"

During the 2014 season -- Beckham's first in the league -- he caught 91 passes for over 1,300 yards and 12 touchdowns. And he did so in just 12 games. Still, the mention of Beckham's name often evokes memories of just that unbelievable catch instead of his entire season, which was good enough to land him the Offensive Rookie of the Year award.

But being known for that catch is obviously not a bad thing. And considering how much work Beckham puts in practicing those types of catches, it wouldn't be shocking to see him do something similar in 2015, all the while adding to his impressive statline.

Beckham figures to be the Giants' No. 1 target for quarterback Eli Manning, and if wide receiver Victor Cruz can successfully return from his injury, that could help open things up for Beckham, who will surely attract the attention of opposing defenses.

But even if defenses do lock in on him, Beckham's catch proved that he has the ability to come down with the ball in the most difficult of circumstances. I mean, even Beckham still can't believe that he came down with that football.

"When I watch it, I'm like, 'Wow, that really happened!' It's still a little crazy to me," Beckham told ESPN. "I envisioned myself making some kind of catch in the end zone, but I didn't know exactly what it was going to be ... I knew that I was capable of it, but just seeing it and the reaction to it, it was by far the craziest thing that has ever happened to me."
