The NFL recently announced it would investigate Peyton Manning and a report from Al Jazeera about HGH being shipped to Manning's wife.

And the Broncos quarterback has no problem with it.

In fact, he said he welcomes the investigation into the "garbage" report from Al-Jazeera America (which recently folded).

"Just like I said back in December, I do welcome it. It's no news to me," Manning said Thursday. "I still stand by what I said then that I welcome it. It's garbage from the first day it came out and it's still garbage today."

The report on Manning was questionable. Some cynics wondered why the report disappeared so quickly, but the reality is Al Jazeera didn't have any firm proof about Manning.

Manning called the report "garbage" as soon as it came out and Al Jazeera started backtracking from it not long after the report exploded onto the scene.

Peyton was not entirely upset about the media company shutting down.

With Al Jazeera struggling, interest in the story waning and Manning proclaiming himself innocent of anything, it's not surprising he's embracing the investigation.
