Rams fans chant for Jared Goff (and Tim Tebow) as the Case Keenum era continues
Los Angeles is ready for the No. 1 overall pick, but Jeff Fisher is holding firm with Keenum
When the Rams decided to keep Jared Goff on the bench to begin the season, most of us circled Nov. 6 as the possible debut for the top pick in this year's draft. The Rams enjoyed a bye last week and are at home against the underperforming Panthers.
If there was ever a time to begin the Goff era, Sunday was the day. But Jeff Fisher held firm and trotted out Case Keenum to begin the game.
It didn't take long for the revolt to begin. In the first half, the Rams crowd had enough with Keenum. So, it began chanting for Goff (and Tim Tebow, by the way).
"We Want Goff" chant is now very loud in Coliseum.

At halftime, the Rams have scored zero points. Keenum has gone 9 of 19 for 115 yards. He entered the game ranked 23rd in completion percentage, 18th in yards per attempt, 20th in touchdown passes, second in interceptions, and 28th in passer rating.
Meanwhile, Goff's wait continues. But he appears to be having fun, at least.
