Rams vs. Seahawks highlights: Rams rookie drops easiest 59-yard TD pass of all-time
The Rams are gonna Ram
Apparently, the Rams didn't spend any time at practice this week trying to catch long passes. Or at least if they did, it definitely hasn't translated over to Thursday night's game in Seattle.
During the first quarter, Rams rookie receiver Michael Thomas dropped what probably would have been a 59-yard touchdown catch. On a first-and-10 play from the Rams' 41-yard line, rookie quarterback Jared Goff threw a nearly perfect ball to Thomas, who was 45 yards downfield.
The Rams didn't get anything out of the play because this happened.

Jeff Fisher would be proud.
Although Goff did slightly underthrow the ball, you have to make that catch if you're an NFL receiver, which Thomas won't be for long if he keeps dropping passes like that. Even if Thomas doesn't score on the play, he still would've had an easy 45-yard gain.
Things actually got uglier a few players later, but this time, it was Goff's fault. The 2016 No. 1 overall pick missed a wide-open receiver on a play that would've gone for an easy touchdown.
Worst pass in NFL history. https://t.co/oo1cY2q1y1

The Rams drove all the way down to Seattle's 7-yard line but didn't score after failing on a fourth-and-1.
