Former Denver Broncos running back Montee Ball, a second-round pick in 2013, was picked up Saturday night in Whitewater, Wisc., on a felony bail-jumping charge, according to WKOW. Apparently Ball, who was told not to consume alcohol as part of his bail from an earlier arrest, was spotted at a bar.

Ball was on probation following his arrest in February over an alleged domestic violence incident with his girlfriend.

Here the details on Ball's most recent arrest for his bail violation, according to the WKOW report:

Police were called to 841 Brewhouse where Ball was said to be at the tavern drinking alcohol and had felony bond conditions in Dane County not to consume alcohol or be in a bar/tavern.

Ball was located at an address on W. Main Street where he denied drinking, however, had an odor of intoxicants on his breath.  Ball refused a breathalyzer as well as any blood draw.  A search warrant was served for his blood, which was then drawn.

Ball, a superstar at Wisconsin, played two seasons for the Broncos (rushing 175 times for 731 yards) before being released prior to 2015. The Patriots signed him in 2015 to their practice squad but he was released after being charged in February.
