If the goal of the 2016 preseason was to build back up Robert Griffin III's shattered confidence, Hue Jackson is doing a pretty good job. During the Browns first week of the preseason, Jackson dialed up a deep ball to Terrelle Pryor on the first play from scrimmage.

In the second week, he fired up another deep ball from RG3 to Pryor for a 50-yard touchdown. And then later in the game, he let Griffin turn it loose to Gary Barnidge in the end zone and the result was a beautiful touchdown pass, and maybe an even better catch by the tight end.

Are the Browns going to be any good? Who knows. They could be a trainwreck again, and Griffin could struggle in this offense when the season actually starts.

But goodness they're interesting to watch right now, with Griffin dialing up deep balls. Between Pryor, the return of Josh Gordon, rookie Corey Coleman, running back Duke Johnson and Barnidge, Griffin has some weapons to work with. He's also sliding all over the place, looking interested in protecting his body and resurrecting his career.

Not many people could give him the chance like Jackson, and RG3's taking as much advantage of it as he can so far in the preseason.
