WATCH: The Eagles' long snapper impresses Simon Cowell with his magic
Jon Dorenbos has been around in the NFL for over a decade, but he has a hidden talent
For 14 years, we -- the collective football fan -- have watched Jon Dorenbos do what he does best: Snap footballs super long distances. We might not have known who we were watching snap the ball for the Bills, Titans, and Eagles since 2003, but at various points in time, it was actually Dorenbos hidden within a helmet and a legion of linemen.
I'm not making it up. Dorenbos is super good at long snapping. There's a reason why he's stuck around since 2003 and has earned two Pro Bowl roster spots.
But it turns out, Dorenbos has another hidden talent. He's a talented magician. So, Dorenbos took his talents to the stage and television cameras for NBC's America's Got Talent.
"Let's be honest, the NFL stands for Not For Long," Dorenbos, a member of the Eagles, said on the show. "So I've been lucky here. So, you've always got to have a backup plan and this is a pretty good one."

He was legitimately pumped to be there, saying "Let's rock this out!" before his trick. He added, "Here's the deal: I love this," before running up to the judges' table. He later used words like "Sick!" and phrases like "That's sick!" and "Peace out!"
I won't spoil his trick, but his magic involves a deck of cards and it's pretty smooth.
So, I learned a lot today. Not only did I learn about Dorenbos' magic prowess, but I also learned Simon Cowell is still on TV and is apparently a lot less mean now. He was even impressed by Dorenbos.
