On Friday, the Washington Post published audio of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump making lewd comments about women back in 2005 when he was a billionaire entertainer. Trump insisted that the remarks were nothing more than "locker room talk."

Athletes around the country quickly and vehemently disagreed with Trump's characterization of what conversations take place in locker rooms. On Wednesday, the question was put to Patriots quarterback Tom Brady who has previously called Trump a friend, and once said "it would be great" if Trump became president.

"Thank you guys, have a good day," was Brady's response. Halfway across the country, the question was put to Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who offered a slightly more substantial response:

In marginally related news, back in March, during a rally in Appleton, Wisconsin, Trump admitted that most of what he knew about Rodgers was based on what Brady had told him.

"Tom Brady's a friend of mine," Trump said at the time. "He says you have a great quarterback."
