Falcons' Kaleb McGary: Done for year
The Falcons placed McGary on season-ending IR on Tuesday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Atlanta didn't designate McGary to return, meaning the left leg injury that caused him to be carted off the practice field Aug. 21 will force him to miss the entire 2025 season. The loss of their starting right tackle is a huge blow to the Falcons' offense, and could impact the fantasy upside of quarterback Michael Penix and running back Bijan Robinson. Elijah Wilkinson appears the most likely candidate to step into the vacant starting role, though Jack Nelson and Brandon Parker could also get opportunities.

Falcons' Kaleb McGary: Could spend time on IR
Head coach Raheem Morris said Friday that McGary is expected to miss "significant time" with a leg injury, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.
McGary was carted off the field during Wednesday's training camp practice due to a left leg injury. Further tests revealed a significant injury, and Morris noted that McGary is a candidate to start the regular season on injured reserve. McElhaney relays that Elijah Wilkinson is most likely to start at right tackle due to McGary's injury, with Jack Nelson and Brandon Parker also candidates to fill in.

McGary doesn't have a return timetable and his injury is being described as an "apparent leg injury," so details of the situation are still murky.
