Linval Joseph recovering from shoulder surgery
by Larry Hartstein |

Vikings defensive tackle Linval Joseph is not participating in the team's mandatory minicamp as he recovers from January shoulder surgery. Joseph told that the team knew about the surgery when it signed him to a five-year, $31.5 million contract in March.

Joseph was able to do individual drills during OTAs and said he's picking up the defensive scheme. "I feel like I'm not too far behind," he told the website. "I'm just waiting until the start of training camp, to show what I can do."
