| BJGE doesn't care about being 'the guy': New Bengals running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis immediately showed why the team doesn't expect any problems running in a rotation with teammate Bernard Scott. Asked if he expects to be "the guy," or to carry 20 times a game, Green-Ellis deflected any selfishness. "I just want to contribute and go out there and play," he said Monday from the team's offseason minicamp. "That's it. I don't care about 'the guy' and all that stuff. | That sounds like Green-Ellis, who had 27 games with under 20 carries and 10 games with under 10 carries in New England over the last two years. But the reality is that the Bengals didn't pay him $8 million guaranteed to let him watch someone else shoulder the workload, so we think he'll see some decent work. The Bengals could add more talent to their running back corps before the end of the offseason, but if Green-Ellis remains as their primary rusher, he has 1,000-yard, 10-touchdown potential. Green-Ellis should be eyed as at least a low-end No. 2 Fantasy RB worth a pick starting in Round 5. (Updated 04/16/2012). |
