| Armstrong hauls in 50-yard TD bomb: Washington WR Anthony Armstrong entered the Week 12 game in Seattle without a catch since Week 7 at Carolina. Even in that game, he managed just one catch for 9 yards. Armstrong even went the first three quarters of Sunday's game without appearing on the stat sheet. That is when QB Rex Grossman found Armstrong streaking down the sidelines for a 50-yard touchdown strike in the corner of the end zone in the fourth quarter. | Fantasy Analysis |
| Armstrong has had so many opportunities to become a relevant receiver for the Redskins. He's failed just about every time. He came down with an exciting 50-yard TD catch on Sunday, but we doubt he can turn that into consistent production. The Redskins play Week 13 against the Jets. New York allows the second-fewest Fantasy points per game to opposing wide receivers on the season. The Jets haven't given up 100 yards to a receiver since Week 6 and they have allowed just five WR touchdowns all year. In fact, the Jets have allowed just two WR TDs in the last five weeks. Armstrong has no Fantasy value for the Week 13 contest. (Updated 11/27/2011). |
