Quinn (concussion) was placed on injured reserve Thursday, Rich Hammond of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.
Quinn was already listed as doubtful for Thursday's game against the Seahawks, but the team has now elected to effectively shut down the defensive end with the Rams' season all but over. Look for Eugene Sims to get the start at defensive end the rest of the way in Quinn's absence.
Quinn (concussion) is listed as doubtful for Thursday's game against the Seahawks.
Quinn did not participate in practice throughout the entire week up to this point, and he may be in line to miss his fourth game of the season as a result. If he's ultimately ruled out, expect Eugene Sims to get the start at defensive end with Ethan Westbrooks providing additional depth.
Quinn was able to log a full practice last Friday, but ultimately was ruled inactive for Sunday's loss to the Falcons. He'll hope to return to game action Thursday against the Seahawks.
Quinn fit in a full practice Friday, but he must remain under the league's concussion protocol. His next chance to play will come next week against the Seahawks.
Quinn (concussion) is questionable for Sunday's contest against Atlanta.
Though Quinn is officially listed as questionable it would be surprising if he didn't play on Sunday after practicing in full on Friday. If he does wind up sitting out for a second straight game, look for Eugene Sims to see some extra snaps once again.
