Boyd was previously thought to have escaped serious injury, but upon Monday's MRI revealing torn ankle ligaments, Boyd's condition appears worse than hoped. With a broken ankle bone as well, Boyd may now be sidelined for the remainder of this season, potentially leaving the Packers without a member of their defensive line rotation.
Boyd was forced to exit Sunday night's contest with what was feared to be a serious injury, but it appears the damage done is less than initially expected. While a more definitive timetable for Boyd's eventual return should be released soon, the Packers will be relieved that he'll likely not be out long-term.
"Aaron is getting ready to play," McCarthy said during his Friday press conference. "Looks good. Everything is on schedule."
McCarthy also had a positive report on Lacy.
"Looks good to me," McCarthy said.
The Seahawks are considered 7 1/2-point favorites for Sunday's game.
Richardson was listed as questionable, while Boyd, Gouse and Sitton were listed as probable.
