| August 29, 2012: Jets Projected Roster: Getting to 53 The Jets have been hit with a number of injuries to their starters. However, with the exception of S Eric Smith, all are expected back for the season opener. In the meantime, the only other impactful issue that has arisen is the season-ending injury to TE Josh Baker. The team is deep on defense, but offense still remains a problem with not as much depth on the offensive line or at wide receiver. |
