Jags CB Dwayne Gratz apologizes to team, will play Sunday

Jaguars starting cornerback Dwayne Gratz, cited for two misdemeanors last weekend, apologized to the team Wednesday and will be active for Sunday's game at Indianapolis, reports the Florida Times-Union. Gratz was cited for disorderly intoxication and trespassing by the Miami Beach Police.

Gratz has 32 tackles in nine games played this season.

Jaguars cornerback Dwayne Gratz was unable to practice Monday after being cited for two misdemeanors over the weekend, the Florida Times-Union reports. Gratz left jail at 6 a.m. on Monday after being cited for disorderly intoxication and trespassing, per the Miami Beach Police Department.

Coach Gus Bradley would not reveal Gratz' playing status for Week 12 against the Colts.

"He had an unfortunate situation over the weekend so I expect to see him later this afternoon," Bradley said. "I'll meet with him and we'll handle it internally. It's not good what took place, but it is a matter we have to investigate even more when he gets back here.

"I want to talk to him and we'll handle some things with him."

Bradley would not reveal if Gratz was involved in any off-field trouble, but told reporters the situation will be "handled internally."

Gratz is tied for sixth in the league with 32 total tackles. He has five passes defended through nine games.

Jaguars cornerback Dwayne Gratz (groin) and left tackle Luke Joeckel (concussion) are active for Sunday's game in Cincinnati after being listed as probable. Gratz has 23 tackles in seven games this season. Joeckel suffered the concussion Week 8 against Miami while blocking on a field-goal try.

Jaguars coach Gus Bradley told reporters he'd be "shocked" if left tackle Luke Joeckel (concussion) doesn't play Week 9 at Cincinnati. Joeckel returned to practice and was ruled probable for the game, along with cornerback Dwayne Gratz (groin) and wide receivers Cecil Shorts (groin) and Allen Hurns (ankle). Linebacker Dekoda Watson (hamstring) was the only player ruled questionable on the list.

Defensive lineman Andre Branch (groin) and defensive back Will Blackmon (finger) were both ruled out.
