Edmund Kugbilanever played in a game for the Panthers after they drafted him in the fourth round of the 2013 draft. The team cut the injury-prone lineman on Wednesday, according to The Charlotte Observer.
The 24-year-old out of Valdosta State missed time with hamstring and back injuries.
Panthers guard Edmund Kugbila suffered a setback in his rehab from a hamstring injury and has not been cleared for the start of training camp, ESPN reported. Kugbila missed all of last year with the hamstring problem.
