March 13, 2013: Giants sign Josh Brown to replace Lawrence Tynes The New York Giants agreed to terms with veteran kicker Josh Brown on Wednesday. Brown, a 10-year veteran, replaced injured Bengals kicker Mike Nugent over the last four weeks of the 2012 regular season. The move ends the Lawrence Tynes era with the Giants.
