| Grossman officially re-signs: The Redskins re-signed veteran quarterback Rex Grossman, who started 13 games for them last season. Grossman received a one-year deal, though in 2012 he'll likely spend most of the time backing up one of two rookies, Andrew Luck or Robert Griffin III, that the Redskins are expected to draft No. 2 overall. Grossman threw 16 TDs and 20 INTs in 2010. "If I'm on the team, I'm gonna help out that guy get up to speed, but I'll also be ready to play," Grossman told WTEM-AM. "I'm gonna be a good soldier, and I'll be busting my [backside] to help him out." (Updated 03/21/2012) |
