Cardinals QB Carson Palmer throws for 352 yards, TD in loss
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer completed 29 of 46 pass attempts for 352 yards with one touchdown and an interception in Sunday's 24-22 loss to the St. Louis Rams .

Palmer didn't play poorly, but it was his stiffest challenge of the season, and he looked a little out of sorts on a few occasions, stalling on the Rams' side of the field (K Chandler Catanzaro had five FGs). The veteran QB had been sacked just one time entering Sunday's game, but the Rams' pass rush got to him four times. On a positive note, Palmer got wideout Michael Floyd involved more, as the duo hooked up five times for 59 yards. He'll face the Detroit Lions on the road in Week 5.

Cardinals QB Carson Palmer throws for 311 yards, two TDs in win
by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com

Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer completed 20 of 32 pass attempts for 311 yards, with two touchdowns and an interception, in Sunday's 47-7 win over San Francisco.

Palmer had somewhat of a quiet first half because the Cardinals scored a couple of defensive touchdowns and got a pair of scores from Chris Johnson. The veteran QB kept throwing though, as both of his touchdowns to Larry Fitzgerald came in the second half. Palmer continues to play well, with a 9-2TD:INT ration through three games this season. Even without Andre Ellington (knee), Palmer has a plethora of weapons at his disposal, so he could be in line for a big season.

He'll have a tough test in Week 4, however, facing a solid Rams defense.

Cardinals QB Carson Palmer fires four touchdown passes in win
by Rotowire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com

Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer completed just 17 passes Sunday in 24 attempts, but four of his strikes went the distance. He finished with 185 yards and a quartet of scores in beating Chicago.

While he did throw one interception, Palmer was excellent. He hit Larry Fitzgerald for three touchdowns and added one to Jaron Brown.

The return of wideout Michael Floyd (fingers) didn't do much (no catches on one target), but it's encouraging that Palmer continues to play well even with one of his starting receivers hindered.

Palmer will head into a Week 3 matchup against the 49ers with seven touchdowns in just two games this season.

Cardinals QB Carson Palmer throws for 307 in beating Saints
by Marty Gitlin | CBSSports.com

Three touchdowns, 307 yards, no interceptions, a victory and a clean uniform. That was one pleasant afternoon for Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer.

Palmer was not sacked once in leading his team to a victory over New Orleans on Sunday. He completed 19 of 32 passes and fired scoring strikes to Josh Brown, Darren Fells and David Johnson. The 55-yarder to the latter with 1:33 remaining clinched the victory.

He will try to take his momentum and run with it in Week 2 at Chicago.

Cardinals' Carson Palmer 'not even thinking about' knee injury
by Shawn Krest | CBSSports.com

Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer proclaimed himself completely recovered from the knee injury that cut last season short.

Palmer has been working out with wide receiver John Brown and has noticed no lingering effects from last season's ACL tear.

"I’m not even thinking about my knee,” Palmer said, per AZCardinals.com. “I’m still rehabbing just to be on the safe side of things but I don’t need to be at rehab. I’m full go in the weight room, full go on the field, and until it’s brought up, I haven’t thought about everything I'm not doing, because I'm doing everything I was doing."
