Cardinals' Carson Palmer 'not even thinking about' knee injury
by Shawn Krest | CBSSports.com

Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer proclaimed himself completely recovered from the knee injury that cut last season short.

Palmer has been working out with wide receiver John Brown and has noticed no lingering effects from last season's ACL tear.

"I’m not even thinking about my knee,” Palmer said, per AZCardinals.com. “I’m still rehabbing just to be on the safe side of things but I don’t need to be at rehab. I’m full go in the weight room, full go on the field, and until it’s brought up, I haven’t thought about everything I'm not doing, because I'm doing everything I was doing."

Carson Palmer returns to practice for Cardinals
by Shawn Krest | CBSSports.com

Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer returned to practice for the first time since his season-ending knee injury last November.

Palmer returned from surgery to correct a torn ACL. He was able to take part in 11-on-11 drills for the Cardinals on Tuesday.

"This is just one of the many steps in a long road," he said, per the Associated Press. "This was the goal from the get-go, from Nov. 18 on, and it's just one goal achieved. There's a lot bigger goals and a number of goals still to go."

Coach Bruce Arians was happier with Palmer's performance than the quarterback was.

"Of the 100 balls he threw, he only had one bad one," he said. "I thought his movement in the pocket, there was no hesitation in him. I hope he's never happy, and I don't think he ever will be until he hoists that Lombardi Trophy."

Cardinals QB Carson Palmer ready to roll in 11-on-11 drills
by Marty Gitlin | CBSSports.com

Cardinals veteran starting quarterback Carson Palmer, who lost the last seven games of the 2014 season to an ACL tear, has been cleared to participate in 11-on-11 drills in minicamp on Tuesday.

"I'm ready. I'm excited. I'm 100 percent. I'm cleared," he told ESPN. "I can do everything. I've tested out. Gotten stronger every week, every month, just ready to get going."

Palmer added that he had been cleared "weeks ago" but Bruce Arians and the team's training staff opted for caution and held him back.

Carson Palmer to run no huddle for Cardinals more often this year
by Shawn Krest | CBSSports.com

Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer will run the no huddle more often than in previous seasons.

The team has been working on the offense at OTAs, and coach Bruce Arians said that Palmer is comfortable running it. "We can play real fast now," he said, per Fox 910 AM.

"We did it at least one time a week in practice (last season) but not as much in game-time situations," receiver John Brown told AZCardinals.com

Bruce Arians: Palmer knows 'the clock's ticking' on winning
by Ruben Palacios | Staff Writer

Cardinals' head coach Bruce Arians said quarterback Carson Palmer understands the window to win now is getting slimmer, according to NFL.com.

"He knows the clock's ticking," Arians said Tuesday, via the team's official website. "It is for a lot of guys on this team. You get a window to make a run and most of it depends on your quarterback. Right now, it's our window. There is a sense of urgency."

The Cardinals were 8-1 last season before Palmer went down with a season-ending ACL tear.
