Greg Jennings leads Vikings with 77 receiving yards in Week 7
by R.J. White | CBSSports.com

Vikings wide receiver Greg Jennings led the offense with six receptions for 77 yards in his team's 17-16 loss to the Bills in Week 7.

The Vikings couldn't get much done through the air Sunday, with quarterback Teddy Bridgewater completing only 15 passes in the game. Jennings still managed to deliver his highest yardage total of the season, though he's still looking for his first score since Week 1. He's up to 26 receptions and 345 yards heading into his team's Week 8 matchup with the Buccaneers.

Vikings pass catchers fail to do much Week 6
by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com

The Vikings pass catchers failed to produce much Week 6.

Tight end Chase Ford finished second in receiving after catching four passes for 37 yards. Greg Jennings managed to come up with three catches for 33 yards. Charles Johnson also got into the act, catching two passes for 22 yards. Jarius Wright, who has been strong lately, caught four balls, but gained just 17 yards. He did have a rushing attempt, and gained 21 yards. Rhett Ellison caught one pass for 4 yards.

The group will take on the Bills Week 7.

Vikings WR Greg Jennings does little against former team
by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com

Vikings wide receiver Greg Jennings caught two passes against his former team Thursday.

Jennings finished with 31 yards, which wound up being the second-highest figure on the club. With Christian Ponder starting, the Vikings failed to move the ball much on offense. Despite the blowout, Jennings remained in the game until the team's last drive. He was targeted twice by Ponder on the final drive, but failed to come up with the ball both times.

Jennings will look for more Week 6 against the Lions.

CB coach warning Packers about Vikings WR Greg Jennings
by Marty Gitlin | CBSSports.com

Packers cornerbacks coach Joe Whitt has sent a word of warning to his players through the media - Vikings wide receiver Greg Jennings has returned to form.

"Greg is back, OK?" Whitt said via NFL.com. "I don't know if he was hurt or what happened last year. He looks like the old Greg Jennings. He's fast, he's quick, he's elusive, he's really creative in his route-running. He's fun to watch run routes. The quarterback can get him the ball. So we really have a challenge."

The ex-Packer has not stuffed the stat sheet - he is on the same statistical pace as he was in 2013. But he has come on recently with eight catches for 142 yards over the last two games combined. He has not scored, however, since Week 1.

Steer clear of Vikings WR's Thursday
by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com

The Vikings' receiving corps has had to deal with two different quarterbacks over the last two weeks, and they may see a third if Teddy Bridgewater's ankle injury forces him to sit out Thursday's game against the Packers in Week 5.

Though Bridgewater threw the ball well in his first start, it was little-used third receiver Jarius Wright who saw the bulk of the bump. Greg Jennings and Cordarrelle Patterson, the team's more well established duo, combined for just five receptions. Even if Bridgewater does play Thursday, we just don't have enough information on how he likes to use his receivers to know whether Sunday's game is the start of a pattern or not.

We really need to see more from Bridgewater before we can determine how he and the coaching staff wants to use his receivers. With nothing in the way of must-start players among this trio, you probably want to avoid using them in Week 5.
