Chris Cook hopes to stay with Vikings
by Jamey Eisenberg | Senior Fantasy Writer

Vikings cornerback Chris Cook would like to return to Minnesota in 2014, reports the St. Paul Pioneer Press.

"If they want me to come back, I would love to come back," said Cook, who is scheduled to become a free agent. "But ultimately it's not my decision. So I'm just waiting and working out. ... I would be more than happy to come back. I really enjoyed the guys I played with."

Chris Cook might not be done in Minny
by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com

Vikings cornerback Chris Cook, an impending free agent, gave up a league-high nine touchdown passes last season despite missing four games with injuries. He has yet to intercept a pass in 29 career starts.

But ESPN.com guesses Minnesota will bring back Cook, 27, on a one-year deal. The website notes new coach Mike Zimmer has shown a "willingness to gamble that he can get more out of players who haven't hit their potential yet."
