| Cook staying with Vikings, for now: The Minnesota Vikings released a statement Monday indicating that DB Chris Cook will remain with the team for now. Cook was suspended on Oct. 26 due to a legal issue. According to the statement: “Chris Cook will remain on our 53-man roster but will not participate in our football activities at this time. We have met with Chris and spoken with his agent and have agreed that currently Chris should focus on his off-the-field matters.” (Updated 11/07/2011) |

| Cook has missed Minnesota's past two games after he was charged with a felony count of domestic assault following his arrest in mid-October. The Vikings don't appear to be in a rush to bring him back to the field as he awaits his next court date on Nov. 22. Cook will likely face disciplinary action from the team and possibly the league because of the incident. Continue to ignore him in all Fantasy IDP formats. (Updated 11/07/2011). |
