| Hardesty flops in start: Given the opportunity to be the featured back in Week 17 with Trent Richardson out, Browns running back Montario Hardesty fell on his face Sunday against the Steelers. Hardesty led the team in rushes with 14, but managed to total just 37 yards. He had a long run or 15 yards, and failed to bring in any receptions, in a 24-10 loss. Brandon Jackson surprisingly led the team in rushing off the bench, with 54 yards on eight carries. (Updated 12/30/12) |

| Fantasy Analysis |
| Hardesty has shown the ability to be a decent change of pace back in the NFL, but he is clearly not a starter; especially not in Cleveland, where Richardson is clearly the back of the future. He finished the season with 271 yards on 65 carries, an average of 4.2 yards per carry. With Richardson firmly entrenched as the starter, Hardesty should be considered just a handcuff Fantasy option heading into next season. (Updated 12/30/12). |
