WATCH: Kings' Jonathan Quick angrily smashes stick after shootout
Jonathan Quick played great on Saturday night. But he didn't like losing in the shootout. His stick paid the price.
Like any professional athlete Los Angeles Kings goalie Jonathan Quick is a highly competitive person and has been extremely successful on both an individual and team level. That also means he isn't going respond kindly to losing.
He was on the losing end of a 2-1 shootout decision to the St. Louis Blues on Saturday night, and even though he stopped five shots in the seven round shootout, he did not like the fact he gave up the winner to Blues forward Troy Brouwer.
So he destroyed another hockey stick across the goal post.

Not the first time Quick has taken out his frustration on a stick, and he remains at the top of the list for goalies that you do not want to make angry.
