Ducks' Lukas Dostal: Beaten twice Monday
Dostal stopped 18 of 20 shots in Monday's 3-1 loss to the Kraken.
Dostal was unable to carry the Ducks to victory, although he could've used some support from an offense that scored just one goal on 41 shots. Dostal has alternated wins and losses over his last five starts, going 2-3-0 with a 3.11 GAA and an .871 save percentage over that stretch.

Ducks' Mikael Granlund: Extends scoring streak
Granlund scored a goal in Monday's 3-1 loss to the Kraken.
Granlund accounted for all the offense the Ducks were able to muster Monday, but that goal extended the veteran's scoring streak to four contests. He had scored just three goals in his previous 15 appearances, so he's clearly going through his most prolific stretch. Even more importantly, it seems his injury issues are a thing of the past now. Granlund missed all but one of the Ducks' 19 games between Oct. 28 and Dec. 3 due to a lower-body injury.

Ducks' Leo Carlsson: Unavailable Monday
Carlsson (lower body) is day-to-day and won't play against Seattle on Monday, Zach Cavanagh of The Sporting Tribune reports.
Carlsson could be ready to return to the lineup versus the Kings on Saturday after the Christmas break. He has amassed 17 goals, 41 points and 89 shots on net across 36 appearances this season. Mikael Granlund will occupy a top-six role in Monday's lineup due to Carlsson's absence.

Ducks' Lukas Dostal: Tending twine Monday
Dostal will guard the cage at home versus the Kraken on Monday, Derek Lee of The Hockey News reports.
Dostal has logged four appearances since returning from a nine-game absence due to an upper-body injury, posting a 2-2-0 record and .864 save percentage along the way. Despite his recent numbers being somewhat underwhelming, the 25-year-old backstop should continue to see the bulk of the workload moving forward, even with Petr Mrazek (lower body) also back in the fold.

Ducks' Nikita Nesterenko: Stuck outside of lineup
Nesterenko was scratched for the 11th game in a row in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Blue Jackets.
The 24-year-old made the team out of training camp and has earned eight points, 22 shots on net, 41 hits and a plus-1 rating over 23 appearances this season. Nesterenko would require waivers to go to AHL San Diego. The Ducks are likely hesitant to risk losing him for nothing, but it'll take at least one injury to a forward for him to get back in the lineup regularly.

Ducks' Pavel Mintyukov: Scores game-winner Saturday
Mintyukov scored a goal, blocked six shots and went plus-2 in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Blue Jackets.
Mintyukov's tally with 3:29 left in the third period stood as the game-winner. This was his second goal in the last four games, a stretch that has helped him regain control of a bottom-four spot in the lineup after a Dec. 13 healthy scratch. The 22-year-old blueliner is up to four goals, nine points, 51 blocked shots, 18 hits and a plus-1 rating over 32 appearances.

Ducks' Jacob Trouba: Nets goal in win
Trouba scored a goal, added three hits and blocked two shots in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Blue Jackets.
Trouba has picked up two goals and an assist over his last eight games. The defenseman put the Ducks ahead 2-0 at the 3:00 mark of the first period. Trouba has impressed on offense this year, but his pace has slowed over the last month. He's produced six goals, 16 points, 72 hits, 66 blocked shots, 64 shots on net and a plus-12 rating through 36 appearances in a top-four role.

Ducks' Mason McTavish: Tickles twine in win
McTavish scored a goal on six shots in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Blue Jackets.
McTavish has a goal and an assist over his last two outings as he looks to move past a recent five-game point drought. The center put the Ducks ahead 3-2 in the second period. He's now at eight goals, 67 shots, 36 hits, 34 PIM, 21 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating over 36 appearances this season. McTavish continues to handle middle-six minutes.

Ducks' Mikael Granlund: Earns pair of points in win
Granlund scored a goal on four shots and added an assist in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Blue Jackets.
Granlund looks to be up to speed now -- he's scored in three straight games with five total points in that span. The 33-year-old forward opened the scoring at 2:14 of the first period and set up Pavel Mintyukov's goal with 3:29 left in regulation time. Granlund is up to six goals, eight helpers, 39 shots on net and a plus-1 rating through 18 outings overall. He'll likely remain in a middle-six role since the Ducks have enough young talent to play in top-six roles.

Ducks' Lukas Dostal: Bounces back Saturday
Dostal stopped 23 of 26 shots in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Blue Jackets.
Columbus erased Anaheim's first two leads, but Dostal held on for the final 3:29 after Pavel Mintyukov put the Ducks ahead a third time. This was a much better outing compared to Friday, when Dostal was pulled after allowing four goals on seven shots. He's now at a 13-7-1 record with a 2.91 GAA and an .899 save percentage over 21 starts. The Ducks' next game is against the low-scoring Kraken on Monday.

Ducks' Lukas Dostal: Set to face Columbus
Dostal is expected to start at home against Columbus on Saturday, per Ducks PA Announcer Phil Hulett.
Dostal will try to rebound after stopping just three of seven shots before being yanked in Friday's 8-3 loss to Dallas. He's 12-7-1 with a 2.91 GAA and an .899 save percentage in 20 appearances this season. The Blue Jackets are tied for 21st in goals per game with 2.88.

Ducks' Radko Gudas: Offers helper in loss
Gudas posted an assist, two shots on goal and five hits in Friday's 8-3 loss to the Stars.
Gudas set up Ryan Poehling's first-period tally. This ended a five-game slump for Gudas, who has four helpers, 35 hits, 12 blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating over 10 contests in December. For the season, the veteran defenseman is at seven points, 34 shots on net, 84 hits, 40 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating over 24 appearances.

Ducks' Ryan Poehling: Puts away goal in loss
Poehling scored a goal and blocked three shots in Friday's 8-3 loss to the Stars.
Poehling kept his recent success on offense going by ending a 19-game goal drought. In that span, he had eight assists, five of which have come within the last five contests. The bottom-six center is at 12 points, 28 shots on net, 34 blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating across 28 appearances this season.

Ducks' Mikael Granlund: Pots goal in blowout loss
Granlund scored a goal on three shots and added two PIM in Friday's 8-3 loss to the Stars.
Granlund has two goals and a helper over his last two outings following a six-game slump after he returned from a lower-body injury. The 33-year-old has mainly played in a third-line role this season, though he's getting power-play time as well. Granlund is at five goals, 12 points, 35 shots on net and an even plus-minus rating over 17 appearances.

Ducks' Beckett Sennecke: Buries goal in loss
Sennecke scored a goal on two shots, added two hits and went minus-2 in Friday's 8-3 loss to the Stars.
Sennecke ended a four-game goal drought with his third-period tally, though it was too late to make a difference. The rookie winger is up to 11 goals, 28 points, 69 shots on net, 34 hits, 24 PIM and an even plus-minus rating over 35 appearances. He leads all rookies in goals and points, so Sennecke should be listed alongside Ivan Demidov and Matthew Schaefer in the Calder Trophy race as the season approaches the midway mark.

Ducks' Petr Mrazek: Makes return in relief outing
Mrazek stopped 14 of 18 shots in relief of Lukas Dostal in Friday's 8-3 loss to the Stars.
This was Mrazek's first appearance since he suffered a lower-body injury that ultimately cost him about two weeks. He likely would have been in line to start Saturday versus the Blue Jackets, but a 45:41 relief appearance Friday may change the Ducks' plans. Mrazek remains at 3-3-0 through eight appearances, and he's added a 3.85 GAA and an .868 save percentage this season. If his performance continues to be poor, the Ducks might turn to Ville Husso in the backup role, as he had some positive moments while both Mrazek and Dostal were on the shelf.
