Blackhawks' Ryan Donato: Scores in loss to Philly
Donato scored a goal in Tuesday's 3-1 loss to the Flyers.
Donato has logged points in consecutive outings for the first time since a four-game point streak back in late October. Over 36 contests this season, Donato has 15 points (nine goals, six assists) while posting a minus-6 rating.

Blackhawks' Spencer Knight: Gives up two goals
Knight stopped 23 of 25 shots in Tuesday's 3-1 loss to the Flyers. The third goal was an empty-netter.
Knight allowed one goal in the first and second periods. He has had solid performances throughout the season, but he's lost each of his last four starts despite posting a 2.81 GAA and a .902 save percentage over that stretch.

Blackhawks' Spencer Knight: Tending twine Tuesday
Knight will protect the home net against Philadelphia on Tuesday, per Vinnie Parise of The Hockey News.
Knight has lost his last three outings while surrendering nine goals on 87 shots. He has a 10-9-5 record with two shutouts, a 2.57 GAA and a .914 save percentage across 24 appearances this season. Philadelphia is tied for 19th in the league in the 2025-26 campaign with 2.94 goals per game.

Blackhawks' Nick Foligno: Still sidelined against Flyers
Foligno (hand) will not be ready to return versus Philadelphia on Tuesday, Scott Powers of The Athletic reports.
Foligno started practicing with the team but will remain on the shelf until after the Christmas break. With the Hawks returning from the break with a back-to-back against the Stars and Penguins on Saturday and Sunday, respectively, they may be extra cautious pressing Foligno back into service.

Blackhawks' Nick Foligno: Practices fully Monday
Foligno (hand) was a full participant in Monday's practice session, Charlie Roumeliotis of WGN Radio reports.
Foligno has been on injured reserve for just over a month due to a hand injury, and he's made progress in his recovery recently. While it was encouraging to see him fully participate in practice, the Blackhawks won't make a determination on his status for Tuesday's game against the Flyers until after the team's morning skate. Even if Foligno requires another game on the shelf, it wouldn't be surprising to see him return shortly after the holiday break.

Blackhawks' Teuvo Teravainen: Good to go
Teravainen (foot) will be in the lineup for Tuesday's game against Philadelphia, Tracey Myers of NHL.com reports.
Teravainen skipped Monday's practice for maintenance after blocking a shot in Saturday's 6-4 loss to Ottawa, but he will be fine to face the Flyers on Tuesday. He has generated six goals, 17 points and 38 shots on net through 34 appearances this season.

Blackhawks' Teuvo Teravainen: Absent from practice
Teravainen was not on the ice for Monday's practice session due to an apparent foot injury, Charlie Roumeliotis of WGN Radio reports.
Teravainen was injured blocking a shot against the Senators on Saturday and is now in danger of missing Tuesday's game versus the Flyers. The 31-year-old winger's potential absence may not have a significant impact on fantasy managers, considering he is currently mired in a nine-game point drought. With 17 points through 34 games, Teravainen could be in danger of missing the 50-point threshold for the first time since 2022-23.

Blackhawks' Alex Vlasic: Notches assist in loss
Vlasic logged an assist in Saturday's 6-4 loss to the Senators.
Vlasic snapped a 13-game point drought with the helper. In that span, he went minus-10 with 12 shots on net and 21 blocked shots. Vlasic's pivot to focus on defense this year has sapped the offense out of his game -- he's at six points with 32 shots on net, 55 blocks and a minus-12 rating over 34 appearances. Vlasic still sees top-four minutes, but he'll have a tough time matching his 30-point output from 82 contests a year ago.

Blackhawks' Nick Lardis: Gets first NHL goal
Lardis scored a goal in Saturday's 6-4 loss to the Senators.
Lardis potted his first NHL tally at 7:17 of the third period to bring the Blackhawks back within a goal. He's playing limited minutes in a bottom-six role, including just 8:17 in Saturday's contest despite Frank Nazar (upper body) leaving the game early. Lardis is at least getting power-play time, but the 20-year-old winger will have a tough time making a big impact without a larger overall role.

Blackhawks' Andre Burakovsky: Tallies on power play
Burakovsky scored a power-play goal on four shots and went minus-4 in Saturday's 6-4 loss to the Senators.
Burakovsky has two goals and three assists over his last six games. The winger remains in a top-line role at even strength, but that has less appeal with Connor Bedard (upper body) and Frank Nazar (upper body) both out of the lineup until at least January. Burakovsky is now at nine goals, 23 points (six on the power play), 40 shots on net and a minus-5 rating across 30 appearances this season.

Blackhawks' Ryan Greene: Two helpers Saturday
Greene collected two assists, one on the power play, in Saturday's 6-4 loss to the Senators.
The 22-year-old center produced the first multi-point performance of his brief career as he helped to set up tallies by Ilya Mikheyev and Andre Burakovsky in the second period. Greene, a second-round pick in the 2022 draft, found himself on Chicago's top power-play unit Saturday after Frank Nazar was knocked out of the game early after taking a puck off the face in the first period. With Nazar and Connor Bedard (upper body) both on the shelf until some time in January, Greene will get every chance to show his college scoring resume -- he recorded 25 goals and 74 points over 80 games in his final two seasons at Boston University -- can translate to the pros.

Blackhawks' Ilya Mikheyev: Tickles twine twice in loss
Mikheyev scored two goals in Saturday's 6-4 loss to the Senators.
Both tallies came in the second period as the two teams battled to a 3-3 tie through 40 minutes, but Ottawa dominated the final frame. Mikheyev snapped a 20-game goal drought with this performance. He managed just two assists during the drought, and the veteran winger has six goals and 10 points through 33 contests this season.

Blackhawks' Arvid Soderblom: Fades late against Sens
Soderblom stopped 34 shots in Saturday's 6-4 loss to Ottawa.
The game was tied 3-3 going into the third period, but the Chicago defense collapsed over the final 20 minutes, with Soderblom giving up three goals on a whopping 18 shots. The 26-year-old netminder hasn't gotten into the win column since Nov. 18, going 0-5-0 over his last five starts with a brutal 5.87 GAA and .835 save percentage as Spencer Knight's backup.

Blackhawks' Sam Rinzel: Trio of helpers in AHL win
Rinzel had three assists in AHL Rockford's 7-3 win over Manitoba on Saturday.
Rinzel's getting his groove back in the AHL, and it's going well so far. He's racked up seven helpers and nine shots on net, as well as a plus-1 rating, over four appearances. Rinzel seems likely to get another look with the big club this year, though it may take another blueliner needing a stint in the minors for him to earn a call-up.

Blackhawks' Frank Nazar: Set to miss time
Nazar (upper body) is expected to miss roughly four weeks following his injury in Saturday's game versus the Senators, Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times
That timeline isn't set in stone, but the Blackhawks will now be without both Nazar and Connor Bedard (upper body) for a while. Dominic Toninato may get the first chance to enter the lineup, but players like Nick Lardis and Ryan Donato may be poised for the biggest bumps in ice time.
... See More ... See Less -
Blackhawks' Joey Anderson: Collects three points
Anderson scored twice and added an assist in AHL Rockford's 7-3 win over Manitoba on Saturday.
Anderson has been a decent scorer for Rockford this season, earning six goals and six assists over 19 appearances. He's on pace for his best AHL campaign -- he'd need to surpass his 42-point output from 2021-22. However, barring the need for a veteran presence with the big club, he's unlikely to get called up to the Blackhawks.
... See More ... See Less -
Blackhawks' Frank Nazar: Exits Saturday's game
Nazar (upper body) won't return to Saturday's game against Ottawa.
Nazar took the puck to his chin or cheek area and sported a nasty cut as he went to the locker room. He has been filling in as Chicago's first-line center due to the absence of Connor Bedard (upper body). If Nazar and Nick Foligno (hand) are unavailable for Tuesday's matchup against Philadelphia, Dominic Toninato could draw back into the lineup.
