Flyers' Rasmus Ristolainen: Earns first point
Ristolainen notched an assist in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Blackhawks.
The helper on Carl Grundstrom's empty-netter was Ristolainen's first point in five games since he made his season debut following his recovery from triceps surgery. The 31-year-old Ristolainen is filling a bottom-four role so far, and he's added a plus-1 rating, seven shots on net, eight hits and eight blocked shots. Fantasy managers don't need to roster him unless he gets hot on offense, though he could help in the physical categories in deeper formats.

Flyers' Sean Couturier: Supplies pair of helpers
Couturier notched two assists, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Blackhawks.
Couturier hasn't scored in nine games, and he has just a pair of two-assist outings in that span. The 33-year-old center remains a key part of the Flyers' top six, but he's lost a power-play role due to that recent quiet stretch. For the season, he's at five goals, 16 helpers, 53 shots on net, 36 hits, 26 blocked shots, 16 PIM and a plus-3 rating over 35 contests.

Flyers' Carl Grundstrom: Fills empty net Tuesday
Grundstrom scored an empty-net goal, added two PIM, logged two hits and blocked three shots in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Blackhawks.
Grundstrom scored in consecutive contests for the first time this season. The 28-year-old has taken advantage of a chance to play on the fourth line and looks to be a lock for the Flyers' lineup for a while. He's up to five goals, one assist, 16 shots on net, 27 hits and a plus-6 rating over 10 appearances, though that scoring pace won't last given his lofty 31.3 shooting percentage.

Flyers' Travis Konecny: Two points in win
Konecny scored an even-strength goal and added a power-play assist in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Blackhawks.
Konecny has been one of the most productive players for the Flyers in recent weeks and has cracked the scoresheet in all but two of his last 13 games. Over that stretch, Konecny has posted six goals, 10 assists, 34 shots, 12 hits, six blocked shots and a plus-6 rating. He should remain a strong fantasy play in all formats while he continues this sizzling stretch.

Flyers' Noah Cates: Extends point streak
Cates scored a power-play goal in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Blackhawks.
Cates found the back of the net with a snap shot at the 11:13 mark of the second period to give the Flyers a 2-0 lead. He is riding a four-game point streak, his longest of the season, contributing two goals and assists. He has nine tallies, 20 points, 66 shots on net, 30 blocked shots and 36 hits through 36 games this season while occupying a bottom-six role.

Flyers' Samuel Ersson: Makes 20 saves in win
Ersson stopped 20 of 21 shots in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Blackhawks.
Ersson was beaten in the latter stages of the second period, but that would be the only goal he'd allow. The 26-year-old Swedish netminder snapped a four-game losing skid with this win, a run in which he'd allowed at least three goals each time. Ersson owns a 2-2-2 record with a 2.78 GAA and an .889 save percentage in seven appearances in December.

Flyers' Travis Sanheim: Pulled by concussion spotter
Sanheim was removed from Tuesday's game versus the Blackhawks by the concussion spotter, Jackie Spiegel of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Sanheim was shaken up after a hit in the third period, but head coach Rick Tocchet indicated the defenseman is likely fine. Still, fantasy managers will want to double-check that Sanheim has been cleared prior to Sunday's game versus the Kraken.

Flyers' Denver Barkey: Sustains injury Tuesday
Barkey (undisclosed) was injured on a hit from behind in the second period of Tuesday's game versus the Blackhawks. He did not play in the third period and will be evaluated in the coming days, Jackie Spiegel of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Barkey will have some extra time to recover thanks to the holiday break, as the Flyers' next game is Sunday in Seattle. The 20-year-old forward has been seeing middle-six usage since he was called up last Friday. Consider Barkey to be day-to-day until further information is available.

Flyers' Samuel Ersson: Facing Chicago
Ersson will guard the road goal versus the Blackhawks on Tuesday, Jackie Spiegel of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Ersson will look to snap a four-game skid. He's 0-2-2 with 14 goals allowed on 103 shots over that span. The Blackhawks are without both Connor Bedard (upper body) and Frank Nazar (upper body), so their offense will be significantly weakened, but Ersson's recent results aren't encouraging for fantasy purposes.

Flyers' Emil Andrae: Picks up helper in win
Andrae notched an assist and went plus-2 in Monday's 5-2 win over the Canucks.
Andrae is warming up with three helpers over his last four games while seeing time on the Flyers' second pairing. The 23-year-old defenseman looks to have a fair amount of job security for now after being a healthy scratch at times earlier in the season. He's up to 10 points, 23 shots on net, 25 hits, 21 blocked shots, 10 PIM and a plus-9 rating over 25 appearances, which is already career-best production on offense.

Flyers' Carl Grundstrom: Tallies in Monday's win
Grundstrom scored a goal on five shots and went plus-2 in Monday's 5-2 win over the Canucks.
Grundstrom's four goals this season have all come within the last eight games. He's at a total of five points, 15 shots on net, 25 hits and a plus-5 rating through nine contests. The 28-year-old winger has been a boost for the Flyers' fourth line, and that should be enough for him to stay in the lineup regularly going forward.

Flyers' Christian Dvorak: Scores after one-game absence
Dvorak scored a goal and added two PIM in Monday's 5-2 win over the Canucks.
The Flyers spread the ice time around in this one, with Dvorak seeing 16:00 from the top line. The center was coming back from a one-game absence due to a lower-body issue. He's now at eight goals, 24 points, 60 shots on net, 21 blocked shots and a plus-8 rating over 34 appearances. Dvorak is on pace to top the 40-point mark for the first time in his career, and with a fairly reasonable 13.3 shooting percentage so far, regression shouldn't be too significant if it happens at all.

Flyers' Matvei Michkov: Pots empty-netter
Michkov scored an empty-net goal on four shots in Monday's 5-2 win over the Canucks.
This was Michkov's first goal of December. He's been fine this month, picking up five assists and 17 shots on net over the previous 10 contests, but he's in a third-line role. Michkov's talent will keep him from staying quiet for long, but the Flyers' style demands some improvements for the winger away from the puck. For more success, he needs to get more pucks on net. The 21-year-old is averaging just under two shots per game, whereas he was at nearly 2.5 shots per game in 2024-25. He's at nine goals, 20 points, 69 shots on net, 34 PIM and an even plus-minus rating through 35 appearances in what's shaping up as a sophomore slump year.

Flyers' Owen Tippett: Fires away in Monday's win
Tippett scored a goal on a game-high 10 shots on net while adding two hits and two blocked shots in Monday's 5-2 win over the Canucks.
The Flyers peppered Thatcher Demko with 38 shots in total, and Tippett accounted for more than a quarter of that volume. His tally came on a fantastic individual effort -- the 26-year-old winger deked Tom Willander out of his skates at center ice to create a clear breakaway, and Tippett didn't waste the opportunity. He's found the back of the net in back-to-back games, and on the season, Tippett's up to 11 goals and 22 points in 35 contests as he marches toward his fourth straight 20-goal campaign.

Flyers' Nikita Grebenkin: Two-point effort Monday
Grebenkin produced a goal and an assist in Monday's 5-2 win over the Canucks.
The Flyers' new fourth line of Grebenkin, Carl Grundstrom and Rodrigo Abols made a surprising impact, combining for the team's first two goals of the night and five points between them. Grebenkin's tally opened the scoring midway through the second period, and on the season, the 22-year-old winger has two goals and six points in 24 games.

Flyers' Rodrigo Abols: Two helpers in Monday's win
Abols pocketed two assists in Monday's 5-2 win over the Canucks.
The Flyers' new fourth line of Abols, Nikita Grebenkin and Carl Grundstrom made a surprising impact, combining for the team's first two goals of the night and five points between them. Abols has just five points on the season in 30 games, but four of them (one goal and three helpers) have come in the last six contests.

Flyers' Dan Vladar: Nabs win in return
Vladar made 23 saves in Monday's 5-2 win over the Canucks.
Making his return from a brief two-game absence due to an upper-body injury, Vladar took a shutout into the third period before Max Sasson got behind the Philly defense and slipped a shot past the netminder midway through the final frame. Vladar hasn't taken a regulation loss since Dec. 1, going 3-0-2 over his last five starts with a stellar 1.76 GAA and .924 save percentage.
