The helper on Carl Grundstrom's empty-netter was Ristolainen's first point in five games since he made his season debut following his recovery from triceps surgery. Fantasy managers don't need to roster him unless he gets hot on offense, though he could help in the physical categories in deeper formats.

Couturier hasn't scored in nine games, and he has just a pair of two-assist outings in that span. The 33-year-old center remains a key part of the Flyers' top six, but he's lost a power-play role due to that recent quiet stretch. Grundstrom scored in consecutive contests for the first time this season. The 28-year-old has taken advantage of a chance to play on the fourth line and looks to be a lock for the Flyers' lineup for a while. He's up to five goals, one assist, 16 shots on net, 27 hits and a plus-6 rating over 10 appearances, though that scoring pace won't last given his lofty 31.3 shooting percentage.

Konecny scored an even-strength goal and added a power-play assist in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Blackhawks.
Konecny has been one of the most productive players for the Flyers in recent weeks and has cracked the scoresheet in all but two of his last 13 games. Over that stretch, Konecny has posted six goals, 10 assists, 34 shots, 12 hits, six blocked shots and a plus-6 rating. He should remain a strong fantasy play in all formats while he continues this sizzling stretch.

Flyers' Samuel Ersson: Makes 20 saves in win
Ersson stopped 20 of 21 shots in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Blackhawks.
Ersson was beaten in the latter stages of the second period, but that would be the only goal he'd allow. The 26-year-old Swedish netminder snapped a four-game losing skid with this win, a run in which he'd allowed at least three goals each time. Ersson owns a 2-2-2 record with a 2.78 GAA and an .889 save percentage in seven appearances in December.

Flyers' Travis Sanheim: Pulled by concussion spotter

Barkey (undisclosed) was injured on a hit from behind in the second period of Tuesday's game versus the Blackhawks. He did not play in the third period and will be evaluated in the coming days, Jackie Spiegel of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Barkey will have some extra time to recover thanks to the holiday break, as the Flyers' next game is Sunday in Seattle. The 20-year-old forward has been seeing middle-six usage since he was called up last Friday. Consider Barkey to be day-to-day until further information is available.

Ersson will look to snap a four-game skid. He's 0-2-2 with 14 goals allowed on 103 shots over that span. He's up to 10 points, 23 shots on net, 25 hits, 21 blocked shots, 10 PIM and a plus-9 rating over 25 appearances, which is already career-best production on offense.

The 28-year-old winger has been a boost for the Flyers' fourth line, and that should be enough for him to stay in the lineup regularly going forward.

This was Michkov's first goal of December. He's been fine this month, picking up five assists and 17 shots on net over the previous 10 contests, but he's in a third-line role. Michkov's talent will keep him from staying quiet for long, but the Flyers' style demands some improvements for the winger away from the puck. For more success, he needs to get more pucks on net. The 21-year-old is averaging just under two shots per game, whereas he was at nearly 2.5 shots per game in 2024-25. He's at nine goals, 20 points, 69 shots on net, 34 PIM and an even plus-minus rating through 35 appearances in what's shaping up as a sophomore slump year.

Flyers' Owen Tippett: Fires away in Monday's win
Tippett scored a goal on a game-high 10 shots on net while adding two hits and two blocked shots in Monday's 5-2 win over the Canucks.
The Flyers peppered Thatcher Demko with 38 shots in total, and Tippett accounted for more than a quarter of that volume. His tally came on a fantastic individual effort -- the 26-year-old winger deked Tom Willander out of his skates at center ice to create a clear breakaway, and Tippett didn't waste the opportunity.
