Barcelona goal highlights: Lionel Messi finishes with power at Valencia

Messi put his team into the lead in the first half

It looks Barcelona a little while to test Valencia goalkeeper Diego Alves, but when the visitors did, the ball quickly found the back of the net.

Just after the 20-minute mark, Lionel Messi gave Barca a 1-0 lead in their La Liga clash on Saturday, finishing low from the top of the box. Now, Luis Suarez was offside and in front of the goalkeeper, but the ref let it slide.

Valencia's players pleaded with the ref that the goal shouldn't have counted because of Suarez, and they have a point. Regardless though, Messi hit the ball well and followed up the midweek hat trick with a goal at the weekend.
