Ex-USWNT star Abby Wambach charged with misdemeanor DUII
Abby Wambach, who has scored more international soccer goals than anyone, was booked Sunday morning.
Former USWNT star Abby Wambach was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants (DUII) early Sunday in Oregon, according to the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office.

Wambach, 35, was booked at 2:02 a.m. PT and charged with misdemeanor DUII. The recently retired veteran is the leading career goal scorer in international soccer history, men or women. She won the World Cup in 2015 with the USMNT and is widely considered the greatest forward in women's soccer history.
