It's Going Down: Yung Joc hypes up MLS' Atlanta United in inaugural game
The rapper hammers down the golden spike at Bobby Dodd Stadium
When you think of Atlanta rapper Yung Joc, you probably don’t think of soccer. But on Sunday, the two surprisingly mixed.
The recording artist, known for 2006 hit single “It’s Going Down,” was Atlanta United’s hype man before its first ever MLS match. Hosting the New York Red Bulls, here’s Joc hammering down the golden spike before kickoff.

I’m no hip hop expert, but I remember that hit song during my senior year of high school but had no idea it was him at the game. Maybe it’s his new hairstyle.
In the end, I wasn’t nearly thrilled because my dreams were crushed.
Excited to see Atlanta United's first match. But if @jermainedupri isn't there to perform "Welcome to Atlanta," I will be a bit disappointed pic.twitter.com/7586742PGt
