Leicester City-Sevilla Champions League: Nasri gets red card for headbutting Vardy
Not a smart move by the Frechman
Jamie Vardy didn’t score on Tuesday for Leicester City, but he made a big impact. In the Champions League round of 16 second leg, which the Foxes won versus Sevilla 2-0 to move on 3-2 on aggregate, he got Samir Nasri ejected.
The two got into it late in the second half, with Vardy pushing Nasri. The former Manchester City man didn’t like it, got in his face and gave him a slight little headbutt that Vardy played up by flopping, resulting in Nasri’s second yellow card and a red card. Take a look.

Not a smart reaction by Nasri. He knew he had a yellow and did that anyways. Talk about not knowing the situation. Now, who knows how Nasri staying in the game would have boosted Sevilla, but because of his lack of composure, we will never know.
A French player headbutting someone in an important match. Where have I seen that before?

And you have to feel bad for Vardy. He wanted to fight, and he didn’t have Nasri around, so he did this.
