Lionel Messi is out for Argentina's next World Cup qualifier with injury
The hero in Thursday's match will now miss the Venezuela clash
Lionel Messi starred for Argentina on Thursday in World Cup Qualifying, but when it comes to Tuesday's match against Venezuela, all he can do is watch. The superstar attacker will miss Argentina's next game with a groin injury, the Argentina soccer federation has announced.
Messi scored the lone goal in Argentina's 1-0 win over Uruguay on Thursday.
The groin injury is one tt he suffered this season at Barcelona and reaggrevated it, with his coach Edgardo Bauza not wanting to risk further injury in the match against the Vinotinto.

Argentina now goes into the game shorthanded up top. Paulo Dybala will also miss the game after receiving a red card on Thursday.
