LOOK: Soccer player steps on opponent's head with metal cleat and rips his ear off
Jeremy Menez's Wednesday wasn't great
Former AC Milan and PSG man Jeremy Menez had a rough start to his time at Bordeaux. He had his ear ripped off thanks to the metal cleat of an opponent. For real. Take a look (warning, it's pretty graphic) at what happened in the friendly against Lorient when Didier Ndong made contact on 65 minutes.
First, the moment that caused it.

That's got to hurt. A metal cleat with enough force to the shinguard is painful, let alone to your head. Hopefully he recovers well and quickly.
The club announced that he was operated on to put his ear back together, but there is no timetable for his return. Meanwhile, Ndong has issued an apology, saying he didn't mean to do it and that it was unfortunate.
