Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo. How could you not, after he scored five goals against Bayern Munich over two legs? The Portuguese star is in fine form and adding a goal at the weekend against Valencia.

Defender Raphael Varane has returned from his hamstring injury for Real Madrid, while Gareth Bale will miss both legs with injury. Pepe could be back for the second leg but will miss the first leg.
As for Atletico Madrid, Jose Gimenez an Juanfran will miss due to injury, leaving some big problems at the back. Yannick Carrasco has returned from injury and has been named in the team.
How they got there
Atletico Madrid knocked out Bayer Leverkusen (4-2) in the round of 16 before getting by Leicester City (2-1). Real had a much tougher road, eliminating Napoli (6-2) in the round of 16 and beating Bayern Munich (6-3) to get to the semis.
