What’s at stake: Three crucial points in World Cup Qualifying. For the U.S., it is a golden chance to move to six points in the standings and into the top three spots. With so much momentum after Friday’s 6-0 win over Honduras, a win here would do wonders when it comes to qualifying for next year’s cup. For Panama, it’s a huge chance to get a result and move four points clear of the U.S. with a win or stay ahead with a draw.

Player to watch: Clint Dempsey. He scored a hat trick for the U.S. against Honduras on Friday and will be riding a ton of momentum into this one. Can he and Christian Pulisic continue to connect?
Injury concerns from USMNT: The U.S. is down a bunch of players. After the loss of Bobby Wood and Fabian Johnson before camp, Bruce Arena announced that more players had been dropped due to injury, including John Brooks and Jordan Morris.
Projected starting XI: Howard; Cameron, Gonzalez, Ream, Villafana; Bradley, Pulisic, Bedoya, Nagbe; Dempsey, Altidore.
Odds:
Panama to win - 5/2
Draw - 85/40
USA to win - 21/20
Prediction: I didn’t like this team’s chances to get a result before Friday, but that performance against Honduras cannot be ignored. Losing Brooks at the back is a tough one, so I’ll go with a 1-1 draw, but it wouldn’t surprise me to see the U.S. get three points. USMNT 1, Panama 1.
