WATCH: Led by Everton youngster, England tops Venezuela to win U-20 World Cup title
It's a big day in English soccer history
England's last major title came way back in 1966 when it hosted and won the World Cup. On Sunday, the English federation secured its biggest day since. The U-20 team beat Venezuela 1-0 in the U-20 World Cup final on Sunday in South Korea.
It was a first-half goal from Everton's Dominic Calvert-Lewin that secured the victory. Take a look:

What a moment for Englnad. Though certainly not as great as a senior team trophy, it's a stepping-stone that England fans hope will pay off in the long run, with these players sure to be cornerstones of the senior national team before long.
As for Venezuela, what a remarkable accomplishment to make it so far. This young group of guys lead a bright future for Venezuela, which is no longer just a baseball country.
