USMNT striker Bobby Wood had some big shoes to fill on Friday with Clint Dempsey out of the team's World Cup qualifying match with St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Oh, and he filled them quickly. Wood scored in the first half to put the U.S. up 1-0, curling the ball beautifully into the goal from outside the box. Take a look.
GOOOOOAAALL!

Bobby Wood with a fantastic curler puts @ussoccer ahead 0-1. #Russia2018https://t.co/flJKvGaNjm
That's a lovely hit and a great job by his teammates to move the ball around. And for those counting, that is Wood's seventh goal for the red, white and blue.
