Wild last-minute goal saves Liga MX club from relegation and puts them into playoffs

The biggest nightmare any major soccer club has is being relegated down to the lower divisions. More than anything, it has huge financial implications on the club. The team loses money, and most clubs are usually forced to sell players as top-tier established professionals want to play at the highest level and not down a league.
Monarcas almost went down to the second division on Saturday night, but a late goal changed its fate. Raul Ruidiaz scored in the 91st minute to lead his club to a 2-1 win over Monterrey, saving his team from relegation and securing a playoff spot in the process. Take a look:
