Marcus Willis is enjoying his underdog status
Marcus Willis is the biggest story of Wimbledon's early days, and the dream continued on Wednesday as he was matched up against one of the all-time greats.
Willis, ranked No. 772 in the world, had earned less than $292 in prize money this year before qualifying for Wimbledon and miraculously beating No. 54 Ricardas Berankis in the first round.
The 25-year-old Englishman quickly became a fan favorite, and earned a second-round date with world No. 3 and all-time Grand Slam wins leader Roger Federer on Centre Court.
Willis played up his underdog status in the days leading up to the match, but capped it off with a brilliant move. Take a close look at the shirt Willis decided to wear to the match.

Yes, that is Roger Federer's logo on his sleeve. This dude wore a Roger Federer shirt to play Roger Federer.
By all accounts this is one of the biggest mismatches in Wimbledon history, so why not have a little fun?

Unfortunately Willis wasn't able to keep the magic going, and lost to the seven-time Wimbledon champ 6-0, 6-3, 6-4. Willis left Centre Court to a standing ovation from the crowd.
Classy.
