What to Know

The Fordham Rams are 1-5 against the Saint Louis Billikens since February of 2016, but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit Saturday. The Rams and Saint Louis will face off in an Atlantic 10 battle at 2:30 p.m. ET at Chaifetz Arena. Fordham will be strutting in after a win while the Billikens will be stumbling in from a loss.

Fordham escaped with a win on Wednesday against the Duquesne Dukes by the margin of a single free throw, 72-71. Fordham got double-digit scores from four players: guard Antonio Daye Jr. (16), guard Darius Quisenberry (16), forward Chuba Ohams (14), and guard Kyle Rose (13). Rose had some trouble finding his footing against the La Salle Explorers two weeks ago, so this was a step in the right direction.

Meanwhile, Saint Louis was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 68-63 to the Dayton Flyers. Despite the defeat, the Billikens got a solid performance out of guard Gibson Jimerson, who had 23 points.

The Rams are the clear underdogs, so they're hoping it's the size of the fight that determines this one. They might be worth taking a chance on against the spread, however, as they are currently on a six-game streak of ATS wins.

Saint Louis' defeat took them down to 10-5 while Fordham's victory pulled them up to 9-5. In Fordham's win, Chuba Ohams almost dropped a triple-double on 16 boards, 14 points, and eight blocks and Kyle Rose had 13 points along with five rebounds. We'll see if Saint Louis have a strategy for dealing with them or if they lead their team to another successful outing.
