North Carolina Central @ South Carolina Upstate

Current Records: North Carolina Central 2-5; South Carolina Upstate 2-4

What to Know

The South Carolina Upstate Spartans have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the North Carolina Central Eagles at 6 p.m. ET Dec. 1 at G.B. Hodge Center. Given that these two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

The Spartans came up short against the Furman Paladins this past Saturday, falling 87-77.

Meanwhile, North Carolina Central was expected to have a tough go of it on Monday, and, well, they did. They suffered a grim 83-58 defeat to the Gardner-Webb Bulldogs.

Barring any buzzer beaters, South Carolina Upstate is expected to win a tight contest Wednesday. They hadn't treated fans well this season, but they at least enjoy a 4-0-1 record against the spread.

South Carolina Upstate is now 2-4 while North Carolina Central sits at 2-5. South Carolina Upstate is 2-1 after losses this season, the Eagles 1-3.
