What to Know

A Colonial battle is on tap between the UNC-Wilmington Seahawks and the William & Mary Tribe at 4 p.m. ET Saturday at Kaplan Arena. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W.'

The contest between UNC-Wilmington and the Elon Phoenix on Thursday was not particularly close, with the Seahawks falling 78-65. Guard Jaylen Sims (18 points) was the top scorer for UNC-Wilmington.

Meanwhile, a victory for William & Mary just wasn't in the stars on Thursday as the team never even grasped a temporary lead. They found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 84-61 punch to the gut against the College of Charleston Cougars. Guard Yuri Covington wasn't much of a difference maker for William & Mary; Covington played for 31 minutes but put up just nine points on 3-for-10 shooting.

UNC-Wilmington is the favorite in this one, with an expected 5.5-point margin of victory. If their 12-6-1 record against the spread is anything to go by, the prospects look good for bets placed on them.

When the two teams previously met in March of last year, the Seahawks lost to the Tribe by a decisive 73-60 margin. The loss knocked UNC-Wilmington out of the playoffs, so expect them to come at William & Mary with a vengeful fire.
