The Syracuse Orange and the North Carolina Tar Heels will face off in an ACC clash at 7 p.m. ET Feb. 28 at Dean E. Smith Center. The teams split their matchups last year, with UNC winning the first 81-75 at home and the Orange taking the second 72-70.

A win for 'Cuse just wasn't in the stars this past Saturday as the squad never even grasped a temporary lead. They suffered a grim 97-72 defeat to the Duke Blue Devils. Four players on 'Cuse scored in the double digits: guard Buddy Boeheim (23), guard Joseph Girard III (18), forward Benny Williams (14), and center Bourama Sidibe (11). Williams hadn't helped his team much against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish last week, so this was a nice turnaround for him. Benny Williams' points were the most he has had all season.

Meanwhile, UNC beat the NC State Wolfpack 84-74 this past Saturday. UNC's forward Armando Bacot did his thing and posted a double-double on 28 points and 18 boards in addition to five blocks. That makes it three consecutive games in which Bacot has had at least 15 rebounds.

The Orange are expected to lose this next one by 8. Those betting on them against the spread shouldn't have high expectations for them since the team is 3-6 ATS when expected to lose.

'Cuse is now 15-14 while the Tar Heels sit at 21-8. UNC is 14-6 after wins this year, and 'Cuse is 7-6 after losses.
