Who's Playing
High Point @ Notre Dame
Current Records: High Point 1-1; Notre Dame 1-0
What to Know
The High Point Panthers have quite the challenge ahead of them as they're expected to be blown off the court. They are staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish at 8 p.m. ET Nov. 16 at Purcell Pavilion at the Joyce Center.
The Panthers were pulverized by the Northwestern Wildcats 95-60 last week. One thing holding High Point back was the mediocre play of forward Zach Austin, who did not have his best game: he finished with ten points on 4-for-15 shooting in his 35 minutes on the court.
Meanwhile, Notre Dame didn't have too much trouble with the Northridge Matadors at home this past Saturday as they won 68-52. The Fighting Irish's success was spearheaded by the efforts of guard Dane Goodwin, who shot 6-for-8 from beyond the arc and finished with 18 points, and guard Blake Wesley, who had 21 points.
Notre Dame's victory lifted them to 1-0 while High Point's loss dropped them down to 1-1. We'll see if Notre Dame can repeat their recent success or if High Point bounces back and reverse their fortune.
