What to Know

The Toledo Rockets will be home for the holidays to greet the Marshall Thundering Herd at 7 p.m. ET Tuesday at Savage Arena. The Rockets are out to keep their three-game home win streak alive.

It was close but no cigar for Toledo as they fell 72-69 to the Richmond Spiders two weeks ago. Guard Ryan Rollins had a rough evening: he played for 35 minutes but put up just five points on 2-for-12 shooting and five turnovers.

Meanwhile, the contest between Marshall and the Northern Iowa Panthers this past Saturday was not a total blowout, but with Marshall falling 75-60 at home, it was darn close to turning into one. A silver lining for Marshall was the play of forward Obinna Anochili-Killen, who had 22 points in addition to five boards and three blocks. Anochili-Killen has also now had at least three blocks in his past three games.

Barring any buzzer beaters, Toledo is expected to win a tight contest. Those who got lucky with them against the spread last week might want to hold off on placing bets this time since the team has yet to string together back-to-back wins against the spread.

Both of these teams will be looking to put their recent losses behind them and walk away with a win. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
