The Utah Utes and the Arizona State Sun Devils will face off in a Pac-12 clash at 10 p.m. ET Feb. 26 at Jon M. Huntsman Center. ASU will be strutting in after a victory while the Utes will be stumbling in from a loss.

The oddsmakers predicted a rough contest for Utah this past Thursday, and boy were they were right. They found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 97-77 punch to the gut against the Arizona Wildcats. Utah got double-digit scores from four players: guard Gabe Madsen (15), guard David Jenkins Jr. (14), guard Both Gach (13), and center Branden Carlson (10).

Meanwhile, the Colorado Buffaloes typically have all the answers at home, but this past Thursday ASU proved too difficult a challenge. ASU strolled past the Buffaloes with points to spare, taking the matchup 82-65. Guard Marreon Jackson and guard Jay Heath were among the main playmakers for the Sun Devils as the former had 17 points along with five steals and five boards and the latter had 18 points.

Barring any buzzer beaters, the Utes are expected to win a tight contest this past Saturday. They have failed bettors playing the spread in their past two games, so buyers beware.

Utah is now 11-17 while ASU sits at 11-16. A couple offensive numbers to keep in mind before tip-off: Utah has only been able to knock down 41.50% percent of their shots, which is the 43rd lowest field goal percentage in college basketball. ASUs have had an even harder time: they have only been able to knock down 40.40% percent of their shots, which is the 17th lowest field goal percentage in college basketball. It could be a slow night.
