What to Know

An SEC battle is on tap between the Arkansas Razorbacks and the South Carolina Gamecocks at 7 p.m. ET Tuesday at Bud Walton Arena. Coming off of a win even when the odds were against them, Arkansas has to be feeling especially confident now that the spread is in their favor.

The Razorbacks were able to grind out a solid win over the LSU Tigers this past Saturday, winning 65-58. Arkansas can attribute much of their success to forward Jaylin Williams, who posted a double-double on 13 rebounds and 11 points, and guard JD Notae, who had 19 points.

Meanwhile, USC came up short against the Florida Gators this past Saturday, falling 71-63. Guard James Reese V had a pretty forgettable game, playing for 31 minutes but putting up just eight points.

This next matchup looks promising for Arkansas, who are favored by a full 10.5 points. There could be an interesting gambling play in this one, as they have done quite well against the spread at home this season while USC have struggled against the spread on the road.

Arkansas' victory lifted them to 12-5 while South Carolina's defeat dropped them down to 10-6. We'll see if the Razorbacks can repeat their recent success or if the Gamecocks bounce back and reverse their fortune.
